The CRC 1597 SmallData met on July 18 for an exciting event – the introduction of our own chatbot, “Cubie“, during our “No Rules Science Exchange”.
Following the recent advances in large language models, Cubie has been developed to make our small data results accessible to researchers from many disciplines, and also in the hopes of making our discoveries more understandable and accessible to the public.
Our most recent version has been trained on published material from across our CRC, and so on this occasion, researchers themselves from the fields of mathematics, statistics, computer science and biomedicine had the opportunity to interact with it and test its output. The feedback provided will be now integrated into the following version in preparation for its release to the public.
