SmallData had the pleasure of participating in the University of Freiburg’s Faculty of Medicine’s Research Day on Turning Data-Driven Research into Health Benefits on Friday 24th November 2023.
The CRC speaker Harald Binder gave a talk on The Promise of Machine Learning with SmallData and presented the vision and aims of the CRC in general. PI Joschka Bödecker contributed a talk on Machine Learning Approaches for Improved Detection, Prediction and Therapy of Diseases. Moreover, one of our doctoral researchers, Hao Wang, presented new results from project A02 with a poster on Uncovering Typical Treatment Pathways from Routine Clinical Data, supervised by PI Nadine Binder.
We thank PI Toni Cathomen for co-organizing the day and, of course, the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Freiburg for being the host.
