From October 22–24, 2026, our early career researchers took part in Science Days at Europapark; one of the most exciting opportunities of the year to bring science and technology to life for the next generation.
Through hands-on, interactive games at our stand, visitors explored real-world scenarios where research with small datasets makes a big difference, got a behind-the-scenes look at what it means to interact with a large language model, and even went face to face with a robot. Whether young or young at heart, there was something to spark curiosity in everyone.
A huge thank you to our doctoral and associated early career researchers for representing us so brilliantly: Julia Hindel, Paula Staudt, Michelle Pfaffenlehner, María Eugenia Messuti, Hannah Habenicht, Nana-Adjoa Kwarteng, Liam Hoo, Jaris Küken, Hanne Raum and Samuel Böhm.
Special thanks to our colleagues at the technical faculty for their continued collaborative support. We look forward to seeing you there again next year
